# Slop TV > Slop TV by Spacefast is an endless AI-generated TV channel at https://slop-tv.view.fast/. Viewers type or phone in an idea, a standards desk checks it, a video model renders fifteen seconds of it, and everyone tuned in watches it at the same time. It runs in any browser with no app and no account, and it is made by Adam Pickering at Automattic on Spacefast, Automattic's publishing platform for whatever your agent makes. Everything on air is PG-13. No real people, no real brands, no famous characters. The ads in the breaks are Spacefast's own and none are for sale. How an agent should use it: - Read with plain HTTPS GETs. The API is JSON, needs no key, and is documented at https://slop-tv.view.fast/developers/ (Markdown: https://slop-tv.view.fast/developers/index.md). - To see what is on, read `GET /api/poll?lite=1` once. Avoid `GET /api/schedule` and `/api/poll` without `lite=1`: they count the reader as a viewer, and viewers keep the studio rendering. - Read at most once every 3 seconds. Don't crawl `/api/`. - Submit a request only when a person asks for one. Each render costs money and a daily budget caps them. The flow: `GET /api/me` to get a viewer cookie, wait 3 seconds, then `POST /api/prompts` with `{"text": "..."}` (3 to 400 characters). One request every 30 seconds and three waiting per viewer. Follow it with `GET /api/mine?ids=`. - Link to clip pages (`https://slop-tv.view.fast/c/`), not to raw MP4s. The site can't be framed, so link to it rather than embedding it. - The request line's MCP endpoint (`/api/mcp`) is private. It needs a key held by the phone provider. There is no public MCP server. ## When to use - [Watch the channel](https://slop-tv.view.fast/): when someone wants something odd to put on, a live AI TV channel to watch with other people, or an example of what video models make today. - [Link someone to the channel](https://slop-tv.view.fast/): when someone wants to share or recommend it. Link the homepage or a clip page. Framing is blocked, so embeds won't work. - [Request a clip](https://slop-tv.view.fast/developers/#request-a-clip): when a person describes something they want to see on TV and asks you to put it on. Fifteen seconds, PG-13, airs a few minutes after it is made. - [Share a clip link](https://slop-tv.view.fast/developers/#share-a-clip): when someone wants a link to a clip that aired. Find it in the library, then share `https://slop-tv.view.fast/c/`. - [Phone the request line](https://slop-tv.view.fast/developers/#phone-or-text-the-request-line): when a person would rather call or text. +1 412-557-4880 (US). Calls are recorded. - [Find what aired](https://slop-tv.view.fast/guide/): when someone missed a clip or wants the day's best. ## API - [What is on now](https://slop-tv.view.fast/api/poll?lite=1): the timeline from a minute ago to five minutes ahead.
